  Inferno: Canto VII   4th Circle:Misers and Wasters
  «Pape Satàn, pape Satàn aleppe!», "Pape Satàn, pape Satàn aleppe!" ancient invocation of Satan!
  cominciò Pluto con la voce chioccia; began Pluto with the twisted voice;  
  e quel savio gentil, che tutto seppe, and that gentile sage, who knows all,  
       
  disse per confortarmi: «Non ti noccia said to comfort me: "Don't let your fear
